In the New Zealand National Road Cycling Championships in Nelson, Rob completed the 25km time trial in 35 minutes 47 seconds, this time would have earned him the Bronze medal in the World Road Tandem Cycling Championships.
Rob's main ambition now is to compete for New Zealand in the London 2012 Paralympic Games. The steps in 2010 he needs to take en route to achieving this goal are the Tour of Northland in March and the World Road Tandem Cycling Championships in July in Columbia, together with various time trials.
