Rob’s presentation was a highlight of our Advisors Conference. The Advisors left feeling inspired to achieve more. Rob was so fantastic we nominated Paralympics NZ as our conference charity and raised $5000 towards assisting the Paralympians in their quest for excellence

Rob was our key note speaker to the annual University of Auckland Blues Awards. Recipients of a Blues award are their best in their field and Rob certainly gave them an incentive to strive for further success. From the moment Rob began his story, he looked comfortable and at ease with the situation. Through the whole presentation Rob captured the 250+ audience with his humour, charm and overall honest approach to express his overwhelming story of how he has got where he is today.

We invited Rob to speak at our closing dinner to provide an alternative perspective on motivation, to inspire us to strive to meet stretch targets, to build resilience in dealing with stress, and to celebrate someone who had achieved so much in very challenging circumstances. Rob’s speech was well received, and much talked about afterwards. His speech was very engaging, in parts tears were shed and this was complimented with a lot of laughter with Rob’s appealing sense of humour

I wish to thank you for delivering such and inspirational address to the staff, students and parents. In the 2 ½ years that Sancta Maria College has been open we have not had a visiting speaker who has made such an impact on our school. We greatly appreciate the time that you spent with us. Your willingness to share will never be forgotten.

It was absolutely fantastic you could make it to guarantee the night was really special. The evening was a fantastic success and this was down to the part you played. Not only did you join in with the quiz but you demonstrated what a capable auctioneer you were. Finally, a very big thank you for assisting us on what turned out to be an outstanding night.

Thanks again for supporting the National Police Athletic Association Cross Country Running Championships in September. Your contribution helped make the day a successful and very memorable one. Your speech was excellent, and many people commented on your dry humour and keen sense of wit!
